Pacific Ocean and Oregon Coast at Bandon Point

THE BANDON DUNES TRIP

Designed for the Ultimate Golf Experience at Bandon Dunes

I’ve been coming to Bandon Dunes for two decades. Bandon Point is my passion project.

Two decades of golf trips to Bandon Dunes inspired Bandon Point.

My goal is to create the ultimate home base for a Bandon golf trip: a place designed around a foursome, with four king bedrooms and four private bathrooms, so every golfer has the comfort and privacy of a great hotel without giving up the camaraderie of sharing a house.

But I never wanted to build yet another large golf house in the woods with no view. I waited until I found the ideal setting—a private six-acre property overlooking the Pacific, just a few minutes from the Whisky Run entrance to Bandon Dunes.

I wanted Bandon Point to recreate the feeling you get standing on the 11th hole at Pacific Dunes or the 16th at Bandon Dunes, where the course meets an extraordinary expanse of ocean. From Bandon Point, 180-degree views stretch from Five Mile Point at Sheep Ranch to the south to Cape Arago to the north. The views mirror those from the courses and are unrivaled by any other lodging option near Bandon Dunes.

That setting also makes Bandon Point much more than a golf house. With four king suites, it is equally well suited to four couples. While the golfers are on the course, there’s no reason for anyone else to feel like they came along on someone else’s trip. Non-golfers can walk the beach, explore the Southern Oregon Coast, take advantage of the many activities the region has to offer, or simply spend the day enjoying the views and amenities at Bandon Point.

Much of the coastline immediately north of the town of Bandon is protected by Bullards Beach State Park and, farther north, Bandon Dunes itself. That helps explain why the vast majority of vacation rentals near the resort are inland and have little or no ocean view.

Bandon Point is the rare property that has it all: spectacular views and amenities, complete privacy on six acres, and yet is just minutes from the resort’s Whisky Run entrance.

Why stay in the woods when you can stay directly on the Pacific?
